Non-uniform day to raise money for Al
On a wet and dreary November day, Pembroke House was alive with colour! We all donned non-uniform with a touch of yellow, reflecting the colour used to raise awareness for childhood cancer. Well, we say a touch of yellow, but in true Pembroke style, the whole school lit up! Everyone got involved, and we really brightened up the grey day. We are raising money and awareness for childhood cancer, to help Pembroke pupil Al, who is receiving his final treatment in India for leukaemia. We heard today that his stem cell transplant has been a success, and he should be able to come home and complete his treatment here soon! What brilliant news!
If you missed the video that we made for October (childhood cancer awareness month), head to our Facebook page. It was a lot of fun! You will also find details here of how you can help.
